New MDHA lottery system for Public Housing

For the first time, MDHA will be accepting applications online.

The Metro Development and Housing Agency, which is in charge of federally subsidized low-income housing in Nashville, is going to a new system to select tenants. Tenants would apply online and will be placed on a preliminary list and pulled to establish a waiting list. When funding is available, applications will be randomly selected using a lottery system. Each household may only apply once for the lottery. 

NASHVILLE, Tenn. Public Housing waiting list is now open and accepting application. Online applications process begins Thursday, Aug. 15, 2013 at 7:30 a.m. at www.nashville-mdha.org. Waiting list closes Wednesday, August 21, at 4:30 pm., for more information visit their website or call MDHA  at 615/252-8464 with any question.
