Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) waitlist lottery is now open.
Registration for the Housing
Choice Voucher Program lottery is open for three weeks from February 4 at 7
a.m. to February 22 at 5 p.m. Application would be accepted online at the Seattle Housing Authority website. Seattle Housing Authority will randomly
select at least 2,000 households to be entered onto the waiting list. This is
the first time since 2008 that the waiting list has been opened, and the
housing authority is still contacting people from that original list.
