3. Pick up an application from the RHA office located at 1455 Butte House Road, Yuba City, CA 95993 only on June 30, 2021 from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm PT.

Section 8 program waiting list is now open in Berkeley

The Berkeley Housing Authority has opened the online application for the PROJECT-BASED SECTION 8 waitlist. In the Project-based Section 8 Program, rental assistance is tied to a specific unit. When an applicant's name reaches the top of the waitlist, he or she will be offered a unit at a property in Berkeley that has a Project-based unit vacancy. The waitlist process will close on Friday, October 26. The Housing Authority offers the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program to help low-income families pay their rent each month. The City of Redding waiting list for the Housing Choice Voucher program, formerly known as Section 8 is currently open and accepting application. 

The Shasta County Housing Authority adopted a Housing Choice Voucher Program

The Shasta County Housing Authority adopted a Housing Choice Voucher Program.  This Program includes an ongoing voucher system to provide permanent rental assistance for 10 homeless veterans at a time. 

The resolution also adopted a specific policy governing eligibility for students in higher education applying for the Housing Choice Voucher Program.  The policy determines when a student is independent for eligibility purposes.

County of San Joaquin in California open Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) Waiting List on August 10, 2013

The Housing Authority of the County of San Joaquin open HCV waiting list on August 10, 2013. Online pre-application process is available starting August 10 at www.hacsj.com until midnight August 23, 2013. Application completed online is not require to be return by mail. Pre-applications may also be picked up at the locations listed on the county's website starting August 12, 2013 or you may continue to use the on Pre-applications process online. ALL pre-applications not submitted online must by returned by mail to P.O. Box 711, Stockton, CA  95201 and post marked no later than August 23, 2013. NOTE: An online application process is available through the Housing Authority’s website at www.hacsj.com.  The online process does not require applications to be returned by mail.

The Housing Authorities of the City of Fresno and the County of Fresno will be accepting pre-applications online for the Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) Programs beginning July 23, 2013 at 10:00am

Pre-applications must be submitted online at https://fresno.apply4housing.com anywhere Internet access is available. Click on Quality Housing, and under "Quick Links" click on HCV Online Applications. The applicant will receive a confirmation number when applying online. This site is available 24 hours a day. Internet stations are available for public use at your local library.

HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHER PROGRAM WAITING LIST OPEN IN SACRAMENTO COUNTY




Section 8 programs open waiting list for Sacramento County residents. The Housing Choice Voucher Program (HCV) formerly known as section 8 assists very low-income families in renting affordable units available on the open market. The families pay a portion of their income toward rent and the Housing Authority, with funds from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development, pays the remainder. The rental unit must pass regular inspections and the rental amount must be approved, but the family chooses where to live. Housing choice voucher program (Previously known as Section 8) will become available once again in Sacramento County after six long years. Application would be accepted online beginning at 12:01 a.m. Monday, June 4.
