How to Apply to the section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Centralized waiting List,

The Massachusetts Centralized Section 8 Waiting List will remain open indefinitely. The Waiting List is updated every two (2) years. There are three ways to apply:

2. Download and print a Preliminary Application
3. Contact a Participating Housing Authority to have an application mailed to you

Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program waiting list is open indefinite and accepting application now.

The Framingham Housing Authority joined the Section 8 Centralized Waiting List on January 11, 2012. Applications can be downloaded from the MASS NAHRO website. Applications are also available at the FHA office.

The Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program is a Federal Housing Program funded by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).Families, elderly, disabled/handicapped people and single people may be eligible. The Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program also has a mobility component. A Section Eight Housing Choice Voucher issued by the Framingham Housing Authority can be used anywhere in the United States, including Hawaii and Puerto Rico.
