King County Housing Authority is now taking section 8 Applications


  

Registration for the 2013 Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) waitlist lottery is now open.


Registration for the Housing Choice Voucher Program lottery is open for three weeks from February 4 at 7 a.m. to February 22 at 5 p.m. Application would be accepted online at the Seattle Housing Authority website. Seattle Housing Authority will randomly select at least 2,000 households to be entered onto the waiting list. This is the first time since 2008 that the waiting list has been opened, and the housing authority is still contacting people from that original list.

Wakulla County Housing Choice Program waitlist is open

The Wakulla County Housing Department announces the opening of its Housing Choice Voucher
Program (Section 8) waiting list. Applications will be available starting Thursday, January 24, 2013. Application can be obtained via the County’s website at www.mywakulla.com or www.meridiancommunitysolutions.com or at the County’s Housing Department located at 3093 Crawfordville Highway, Crawfordville, Florida 32327. Applications will only be accepted via US Mail. All applications should be completed, mailed and received before 5:00pm on February 23, 2013 at the following address:

Columbia Housing Authority Section 8 Waiting list

The Housing Authority in Columbia, MO open its waiting list today Sept. 17 2012


Columbia Housing Authority Section 8 waiting list was last opened in October 2010, agency said
they expect 1500 applicants. Applicants' household income must be at or below 50 percent of the poverty line, and it is adjusted for household size. A single person earning $23,100 or less could qualify for a voucher, as could a household of four with an income of $33,000. Applicants must be at least 18 years old to take part in the program, pass a criminal background check and provide landlord references.

Those interested in applying to be on the waiting list can do so from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday Sept. 17 through Friday Sept. 21 at the J.W. "Blind" Boone Community Center, 301 N. Providence Road.

HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHER PROGRAM WAITING LIST OPEN IN SACRAMENTO COUNTY




Section 8 programs open waiting list for Sacramento County residents. The Housing Choice Voucher Program (HCV) formerly known as section 8 assists very low-income families in renting affordable units available on the open market. The families pay a portion of their income toward rent and the Housing Authority, with funds from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development, pays the remainder. The rental unit must pass regular inspections and the rental amount must be approved, but the family chooses where to live. Housing choice voucher program (Previously known as Section 8) will become available once again in Sacramento County after six long years. Application would be accepted online beginning at 12:01 a.m. Monday, June 4.

Tennessee Housing Development Agency is accepting pre-applications

Tennessee Housing Development Agency is accepting pre-applications for Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting lists.

You may apply for any open county waiting list you choose. If you apply for a county list in a county other than where you live, you will be required to live in that county for at least 12 months before you may take your Voucher to another county or state. If you have already lived in the county where you are applying for assistance for 12 months or more, you may be able to take your Voucher to another county immediately. Apply for open waiting list
